GerardCLEARYAt home surrounded by his family, Gerry, beloved husband of Karen, father of Sean, Declan and Aidan, father in law of Leighanne, papa of Oliver, Daniel and Aidan, son of Mae Cleary and the late Jimmy, brother of Diane, Lou and Mick.

Funeral service will take place on Wednesday 12th November at Linn Crematorium, Lainshaw Drive, Glasgow, G45 9SP at 10am and thereafter, the committal at Philipshill Cemetery, East Kilbride, G76 9HS at 11.45am to which all family and friends are most welcome.

What an incredible man, a truly remarkable human being, and someone who has humbled us all.

ABSOLUTELY unstoppable in life and what an inspiration to me and everybody that knew him.

I met Gerry 40 years ago playing 5a side football, and any notion that I should go easy on him was removed after he’d nutmegged me within the first two minutes !!

I’m so proud to have known him, and to have been one of his many many friends.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Gerry’s family. What can I say about Gerry other than whenever I seen him he brought me happiness. I loved our trips to Nottingham after winning the HMRC sports quizzes and loved chatting to you about music and football mate.
