Dorothy MarieCLORLEYIt is with deep sadness and much love that we announce the passing of our dearly loved Aunty Dot (Marie) on 24 June 2026.

Dearly loved Aunty and Aunty-in-Law to Karen and Stan. Cherished Aunty to Lee, Nigel, Derek, Angela, Joanne, Amanda and Roslynn. Devoted wife of the late Arthur (Scot). Now peacefully reunited with her beloved husband, Scot, sister Pauline, brother Derek, her loving parents, and all the dogs she rescued over the years.

She will be forever remembered for her warm heart, fierce independence, feisty spirit, unwavering resilience, deep love of family and dogs, and the countless treasured memories she created throughout a life well lived. Her strength, love, and unique personality touched the lives of all those who knew her and will remain in our hearts forever.

Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten

"Live every moment, love every day, before we know it, our precious time is slipping away"

Aunty Dot 💖
Demure, elegant, well dressed and well spoken. You could also hold your own when you needed to.
The hostess with the mostest and a very proud lady too.
I always remember my first taste of Drambuie. Shared with you in the Conny Club. That smell still brings back those lovely memories.
Resting now as a true angel should, over the rainbow.
Forever in my heart.

A Beautiful Poem for My Beautiful Aunty Dot ❤️🕯

When death finds me

And when death finds me,
I hope it whispers,
“Come now,
the fight is done,”
and takes my hand gently,
like an old friend
who understands
why I’m so tired.
I hope it says,
“You've carried enough,
let me hold this weight for you.”
I hope it promises,
“Here there is quiet.
Here you can rest.”

–Ticus Poetry

I will love and miss you forever 🌹 Thank you for everything, the love, care, thoughtfulness, laughter, stories and a lifetime of wonderful memories. My heart is truly broken but I will carry you with me always 💔Until we meet again 🕯
