JeremyCOATES= COATES Jeremy 05.08.1950 - 10.01.2008 It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Jeremy, a much loved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Father-in-law, Son, Brother, Brother-in-law and Uncle. A greatly missed friend who leaves behind very happy and funny memories. We would like to thank our family and friends for their massive support at our sad time. Jeremy was one of the founder members of Dowlais R.F.C. and was carried with pride by his bearers Lenny, Maxi, Ken, Robert, Morgan, Robert Bow and Paul Evans who spoke of Jeremy with so many happy memories. Thanks to Anthea, Dean and bar staff, his friends at Dowlais Con Club and The Morlais Tavern and neighbours, also the girls Liz, Maralyn, Karen and Tracey for preparing a beautiful buffet, also The Morlais Tavern, The Quarry Mans and Linda and Catherine who did food for the house and Maureen, Francis and Brenda for their help. Special thanks to the Morlais Medical Practice for their kindness, Ward 7, Prince Charles Hospital and the I.T.U. Many thanks to Cancer Aid Dowlais for their support, donations have been given to them from Remploy in lieu of flowers and a collection at the Con Club of £621. The total collected was £1,500. Thank you. Special thanks to Allan and Derek, Funeral Directors who carried out the funeral arrangements with care and dignity. To Canon Steve Morgan and Father Michael Evans for a most moving service. Thanks to all who attended the service too numerous to mention and gave donations. The attendance at the funeral showed us how much Jeremy was loved and respected. I'll forget many things in my lifetime, But my Jeremy I won't forget you. Goodnight God bless till we meet again.
