It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter John Cochrane, a much-loved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Peter was a devoted and loving father to Daniel, Kristian, Lesleyann and Peter, and a cherished father-in-law to David, Claire, Fiona and Keeley.

He was a proud and loving grandfather to Harrison, Lily, Sam, Jude, Anabelle, Sophia and Francesca, who
brought him great joy.

Peter will be deeply missed by his sisters Ann, Marie and Janice, along with all his nieces and nephews, partner Carol, extended family and many friends who knew and loved him.

He will be remembered for his warmth, kindness and the love he had for his family.

A funeral service to celebrate Peter's life will take place at Whitley Bay Crematorium on
Tuesday 24th March 2026 at 10:30am.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and pay their respects.

Peter loved life and never lost the mischievous smile and distinctive laugh, always responsible for leading me astray all those years ago and a friend for life.

Although I live in Yorkshire these days, on the rare occasions we were able to meet up it always felt just like yesterday since we last shared a beer and a reminisce.

Peter will be missed by many people and condolences to all family and we will be at the service to celebrate his life and remember his smile.
