IrisCOLEMANPassed away with her daughters by her side on the Nightingale Macmillan Ward, at the Royal Derby Hospital on Tuesday 21st April 2026, aged 82 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Roy, much loved Mum of Melanie and Alison, proud Nan of Ashley, Evan and Calum, mother in law to Steve and Leigh, Nan in law to Celia, and a friend to many. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered as a wonderful Mum and Nan.

Funeral service to be held at Markeaton Crematorium, Main Chapel on Thursday 21st May 2026 at 12.30pm. Family flowers only please.

Donations if desired are invited for The Air Ambulance Service & the Nightingale Macmillan Unit at the Royal Derby Hospital. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or may be given at the service.

So sad to here the news of Iris passing I worked with Iris at curry’s traffic st many memories of such a kind thoughtful lady I’ve never forgotten her

Sorry for your loss a very lovely lady was Iris I used to take her to the hairdressers and Asda also Roy was very likeable as well. Shame.
