COLETTE ARAMTrainee hairdresser Colette Aram was killed on 30 October, 1983, after being abducted in Keyworth, Nottinghamshire.The 16-year-old had left her boyfriend's house at around 8pm but never arrived home.Colette was survived by her parents, Jacqui and Tony, and her brother, Mark.Jacqui told the BBC: "There's not a day goes by when I don't think about Colette and about what happened."She was very happy, always laughing, always smiling. She always thought about other people. She was a very caring girl."She was very popular and well-liked. Everybody loved her."She told the Nottingham Evening Post: "She did a stint in one of the hospitals as nursing was what she originally wanted to do."She had started working as a hairdresser. Her aunt bought the salon for Colette so she had some kind of future. But of course that never happened."Tony said: "I still think of her every day. Life can't ever be the same, because it changes you."
