John StanleyCOLLIERIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Stanley Collier, of Accrington, who passed away on August 31. A much-loved partner to Ann Edmondson, Stan was a devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather, whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Stan worked for many years as a plant operator and was well known for his strong work ethic and warm character. Outside of work, he had a passion for attending local car-boot sales and auctions and could often be found spending time in his beloved garages, doing things he enjoyed most.
His funeral will take place on Tuesday, September 23 commencing at 10.30am at All Saints Church, Clayton-le-Moors, followed by his burial at Dill Hall Cemetery at 11.30am.
