Robert SimpsonCONNELLYThe family are sad to announce the passing of the much loved Robert Simpson Connelly on 12 January 2026 after a brave battle with blood cancer. He leaves behind beloved wife Jacqueline and daughter Gillian, Barry, brother Jonny, sisters Nancy, Linda and Liz, sister-in-law Sadie, much loved cousins, nieces and nephews and many good friends and neighbours. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral service to take place on Thursday 12 February 2026 at Co op Funeralcare Rutherglen, 41 Queen Street, Glasgow, G73 1JP at 12 noon, thereafter committal at Rutherglen Cemetery at 1 pm. A funeral tea will follow at the Burnside Hotel, Rutherglen to which family and friends are respectfully invited.
