Today, we remember and honour the life of a truly remarkable woman – Margaret Ita Conway. To many, she was a friend. To others, a guiding light. But to all who knew her, she was nothing short of royalty – an Irish queen in every sense of the word.
Margaret was a kind, wonderful woman with a heart as vast as the ocean. She had a spirit that never gave up, even in the face of life’s toughest battles. Her strength was quiet yet fierce, and her wisdom was a gift she shared generously. She always knew just what to say, always had the right advice, and always made time to listen.
She had the rare ability to make you feel truly seen and heard. Talking to her was like speaking with family, because that’s what she became to so many of us – family.
Margaret welcomed everyone into her home with open arms and a warm heart. The moment you stepped through her door, you felt it – the love, the safety, the sense that you belonged. Her home was a haven, and she made sure it stayed filled with laughter, kindness, and stories that will live on in our hearts.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and warmth – one that will never be forgotten. Margaret Ita Conway, you were one of a kind. Thank you for everything you gave us. You will be forever missed and forever loved.
Rest in peace, our beautiful Irish queen.

Love you always from San xxx
