COOKCOOK. - Ethel, late of Parkgate Road, beloved wife of the late Will (William), dearly loved mum of Doreen and husband Bill (William), treasured 'Nance' (as she was always affectionately called) of Shirley and Philip and husband Paul and wife Carol, devoted Great 'Nance' of Clyde, Calvin and Clyde's newly married wife Rebekah, passed away peacefully with family around her at Abbey Park Nursing Home on February 23, 2008, one day before her 97th birthday. She prayed and prayed to die and her prayer has now been answered. May she now rest in peace. Owing to unforeseen circumstances, the funeral will be on Monday, March 17, at 10.30am., at Parkgate Road Evangelical Church, followed by cremation at Charter Chapel, Canley Crematorium. Family flowers only, but donations if desired to NSPCC, via the Co- operative Funeral Service, 11 Lower Holyhead Road, Coventry, CV1 3AX.
