Ronald CharlesCOOKEOn Saturday, 14th January, 2023, Ron passed away peacefully at St Julia's Hospice, Hayle. Ron, aged 82, twice Mayor of Truro. Beloved husband of Jean and the late Sheila. Much loved by his and Jean's children, John, Andy, Helen, Matt and Nik. Adored by their 10 grandchildren. Dear brother and uncle of June and her family. Ron will be sorely missed by his family and many friends. In his working career and during retirement Ron loved and championed Cornwall, in particular, supporting the youth of this great county. The funeral service will take place on Monday, 6th February, at 2pm, in the Trelawny Chapel, Penmount Crematorium. Family flowers only please. This is a celebration of Ron's life so please dress as you wish to pay your respects. Gentlemen, if you have one, please wear a check shirt in Ron's honour.
