Charles JohnCOOKEJohn passed away peacefully on 1st October 2025, aged 93 years. John was a much loved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all his friends and family.
Following an education at Crewe County Grammar School, John moved away but returned to Crewe in 1961 to take up a position at Rolls Royce Motors, where he remained for 28 years, ending his career there as a Chief Designer. On retirement in 1989, John immersed himself in voluntary work within his local community, including that of President of Wistaston Memorial Hall Board of Trustees, a role he held until 2017.
The funeral and celebration of John's life will be held on Friday 24th October 2025 at 11:15am at Wells Green Methodist Church, followed by cremation at Crewe Crematorium.
