Sending loads of love on this sad day. Spent loads of time growing up with Si in my life. I remember one day that stands out in my memory watching my brother Nick and Si work out how to make a fortune in the summer holidays building a crazy golf course in the Cooke family garden. Needless to say, it wasn't a goer lol. He was a lovely man who brought joy into the world. I'm glad at least we got to do a fun France with you both which is my lasting memory. Bless ya Si Cooke xx

Dear Joanne, Julia and Fiona,

We are all so deeply saddened by the loss of such a truly wonderful man. It is hard to find the right words for someone who meant so much to so many.
He was one of a kind—eccentric in the very best way, full of character, warmth and generosity. What always stood out most was his unwavering devotion to his family. The love he had for you all shone through in everything he did. He would have done anything for you, and that kind of love leaves a lasting legacy.
Our families were so fortunate to share many happy times together. We will always treasure the memories of those joyful, carefree evenings—the spontaneous games he would invent, the laughter, the singing, the dancing, and the love that filled every moment.
He lived life in his own unique way, and I had such admiration and respect for him. Whether it was founding his own businesses, building and fixing things with his adventurous spirit, or proudly sharing a beer from the YBH he loved so much, he brought energy and individuality to everything he did. He was endlessly resourceful, wonderfully eccentric, and completely unforgettable.
He welcomed our family as his own and was always ready to help anyone in need. That generosity of spirit is something that will always be remembered and admired.
We feel incredibly blessed to have known him and to have shared in those special moments. He will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will stay with us always.
With all our love and deepest sympathy. Andy, Fiona, Tilly and Daisy xxx

Fond memories of Simon rushing in last minute with his accounts saying “Sorry Neil, I’ve had a few late nights getting up to date, but I know you’ll get them done for me”
15 years passed by and had a catch up at a Gosschalks event where he was serving his beer.
Caught up again at Cottingham Christmas market 2025, bought some beer and he even gave me a discount.

So sad to hear about Simons passing ,From 1995 Simon from CCT helped me create and develop our computer systems for our business he maintained our system for many years and was always there when you needed him .He was the kind of person you could rely on without question. Honest, respectful, and thoughtful, he carried himself with a quiet strength that earned the respect of everyone who knew him . I last saw him at the Cottingham Christmas show where he had a stall selling his beer so full of enthusiasm to offer people the best available a true gentleman rest in peace Simon .
