Phil, words alone can never truly capture what you meant to me.

From the very beginning, you and your family welcomed me into your home as if I were your own. At just 9 years old, I was frightened and unsure, but through your kindness, warmth, and gentle humour, you gave me a sense of safety and belonging that I will never forget.

You had a gift, Phil the ability to make people feel at ease, to bring laughter into any room, and to show care in the simplest of ways. That is the Phil I will always remember: kind, witty, and endlessly approachable.

You will be missed more than words can say, but I take comfort in knowing that, just as you made us laugh here, you are now bringing joy and laughter to those beyond.

Phil, you will always hold a special place in my heart, and your memory will never be forgotten.

All my love Keith Winter xxxx

Dear uncle Phil, life has changed significantly since you left us all. Fond memories and love for you will keep you alive and loved forever. You will no doubt be teasing dad about reaching 77 when dad only reached 75 and you both, along with uncle Dave, will be causing mayhem. Your smile, laugh and dimples are some of my favourite parts of you, which I will hold close, no literally of course!! I’d like to give my heartfelt thanks to you, auntie Ruthie, Jo, Mark, Calvin, Jay and Mike for sharing your lives with me and opening up your close family network to include me and my woofers, past and present. Until we next meet. Love Beckie xxxx
