ElsieCOPELAND(Pelaw) Peacefully at home surrounded by family on 26th December 2024, aged 98 years. Elsie, much loved wife of the late Ray. Much loved mam of the late Elaine and son-in-law Bob. Also a much loved nana, great-nana, sister, sister-in-law, aunty and friend.

Friends please meet for service at St Mary's Church, Heworth on Tuesday 14th January at 10.30am. Interment to follow at Heworth Cemetery.

To our wonderful loving nana Elsie.

You were an amazing formidable woman, strong willed, loving and so funny.

Jess and Holly miss you dearly and I know you will be looking down on them as they continue to grow into strong independent women just like their Nana.

Liam will miss taking you to the ice-cream parlour down Shields. He loved those outings just the 2 of you.

We miss having you for Sunday lunch with all the family.

But now its time for you to be reunited with mam and an opportunity to pick up where you left off aggitating dad and Lianne.

Grandad will be there waiting for you.

You always were and always will be in our hearts.
