CROMPTON Professor Gareth Crompton

Peacefully on Sunday 28th December 2025 after a long illness, Gareth Crompton Glaspant, Newcastle Emlyn, beloved husband of the late Valmai and loving father of Elspeth.

Public service at St Llawddog Church Penboyr, Felindre, Llandysul on Saturday 17th January 2026 at 11.00am.

Losing the Club's Life President is immense, losing a real gentleman is even harder. You proudly wore the club badge through good and bad days for over seventy years and we are eternally grateful for your kindness, generosity and support over that time.
It was a privilege and honour to share so much time with such a humble person across the playing fields of South Ceredigion.
Sleep peacefully now Gareth, on the highest mountain-the battle is over.
