MargaretCROOKMrs Agnes Margaret Crook, known as Margaret, of Raby Street, Rawtenstall, died at home on Sunday, March 7, aged 86. Margaret was a retired teacher. She loved to travel, especially cruises, and lately enjoyed virtual travel, attending Masses online all over the world. She was a keen supporter of national charities, including the RNLI, various animal charities, African Missions, Apostleship of the Sea, and other Catholic charities. She was a member of St James the Less RC Church, Rawtenstall. Wife of the late Frank Crook, she is survived by Frank’s children (Margaret’s stepchildren) and grandchildren. The funeral was held on Tuesday, March 16, at St James the Less Church, led by Father Anthony McBride.
