Died peacefully with her loving family by her side in St Oswald's Hospice on 23rd December 2025 aged 81 years.
Beloved wife to the late Arthur, treasured mother to Jacqueline and Anthony, a dear mother-in-law to Graham and Gail, devoted grandma to Jonathan, Charlotte and Cameron, loving sister to Trevor. Bernie was also a much-loved sister-in-law to Linda and friend of many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends please meet for Bernie's funeral service on Friday 16th January at 12:45pm at The West Road Crematorium.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu will be gratefully received with proceeds going to St Oswald's Hospice. A donation box will be available at the crematorium.
All are welcome following the service to continue the celebration of Bernie's life at Newcastle United Golf Club, 60 Ponteland Road, NE5 3JW.
