Peggy & Paul visited us when ever they came to Llangollen, & when Peggy lost Paul, Yvonne would bring her mum.
Peggy would recall the times in her youth when she would cycle from Liverpool & her delight having ridden over the Horseshoe Pass, to cycle downhill into the town. That spirit of adventure never left Peggy & her final years are a testament to that, as she so much enjoyed her travels with Yvonne. We were always greeted with a smile and asked what we had been up to. Peggy's thirst for enjoyment in so many things can be seen in her involvement with all her various activities & encouraged us to make the most of our lives. Don't ponder on something, just do it & enjoy it, like she did! Thanks Peggy for your inspiration. May you rest in peace 🙏

Sincere sympathy to my dear friend Yvonne and her family on the loss of a very special Mum. I met Peggy some years ago in Formby. I remember her endless energy, drive, determination and love for life. A truly special lady and so kind and gentle too. I will remember Peggy especially on her final journey tomorrow. May she rest gently in God's peace. Paula Kelly, Ireland

My deepest condolences to your family.
It was a honour to have my last lunch ( without knowing was the last) with Peggy together with Yvonne at the Stratford-Upon-Avon riverside in July. The day was shining bright with her beautiful smile. This is my favourite memory of her.
I know this is a difficult time, but our thoughts are with you and your family.

With fond memories of our friend and former neighbour Peggy. We got to know Paul and Peggy when we moved into Brackenway in 1990 and soon found them to be friendly and helpful. We moved to be nearer our daughter in 2016 but have still kept in contact with Peggy.

We found Peggy to be an amazing person with an ability to “get on with life”. Peggy kept herself busy with various exercise classes and gardening, both of which she thoroughly enjoyed. She also enjoyed travelling to interesting places both home and abroad and we are so pleased that she was able to participate in these activities until quite recently. Peggy was also immensely proud of her family and all their achievements, and always interested to hear about our family.

Latterly when her deafness became a problem in communicating by telephone, Peggy (then in her nineties) learned how to use What’sApp and we so enjoyed keeping in touch with her that way.

A lovely lady who will be sadly missed by family and friends.

With sincere condolences to Yvonne, Anne and Monica
