Nicola Elizabeth FlorenceDARLINGTONWe are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our dear Nicola on 31st January 2024 aged 47. Cherished daughter of Glenda and Barry. Dearly loved mum of Billy, Mollie and Lennon and Nanny Nic to Elodie. Beloved sister, auntie, niece, cousin and friend. There's nothing our Nicola enjoyed more than the gathering of the people she loved most. A celebration of the life she fought so hard to live and in her loving memory, will be held at Brickfields Recreation Ground, 25 Damerel Close, PL1 4NE on Thursday 29th February at 12:45.
As many will be aware, Nicola fought a brave battle against Covid 19 in 2021. During her recovery, her loved ones were able to spend cherished time with her in the ICU Secret Garden. Since then, one of Nicola's passions was raising funds towards the upkeep of the garden so others can benefit as her loved ones did. If so desired, donations to this cause in memory of Nicola can be made via retiring collection instead of floral tributes and will be gratefully appreciated.
It was Nicola's wish that her life be celebrated with colour. If you are attending the service to celebrate Nicola's life, please feel free to wear colour.
Nicola will be deeply missed, forever remembered and always in our hearts.
