ClairDAVENPORTMrs Clair Davenport sadly passed away on Saturday 13th June 2026, aged 59 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

Cherished wife of Pete, devoted Mum to Will, beloved daughter-in-law of Roy and Maureen, adored sister of Mark and Carl, loved Sister-in-law to Diane, Caroline, Gail and Andrew and caring Aunty to Rob, Emma, Liam, Emma, John, Holly and Dave.

Clair was a dedicated volunteer and fundraiser for the MND Association, raising £150,000 for the charity

Clair's Funeral will take place on Tuesday 7th July at St Lawerence's Church, Biddulph at 2.30pm followed by a private family burial.

The family would very much like everyone to join them for a celebration of Clair's life at the Double Tree Hilton, Festival Park (The Old Moat House) from 4pm onwards.

Family Flowers only please, donations in Clair's memory will be split between MND Association and Diabetes UK www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/inmemoryof-clairdavenport All enquiries to:

Our deepest condolences to you Pete and Will, Clair was a beautiful soul with the most loving and kind nature. Clair was someone with a rare and beautiful gift, a lovely, big heart that had room for everyone. She gave her kindness freely, loved deeply, and made the world a brighter place just by being herself.

Her gentle spirit and generous nature left a mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

We will surely miss her. While she may be gone from our sight, the love she shared will live on in our hearts forever.


Rest in peace, dear Clair. You will be so deeply missed.
