Shirley MaureenDAVIESpreviously Fitzpatrick, nee Jewitt, known as Maureen and Mo Maureen of Penylan Cardiff, previously of Trowbridge, passed away on the 6th October 2021, aged 84 at the University Hospital of Wales Cardiff. Beloved wife of Stuart and the late Paddy, cherished mum to Lynne, Ian, Huw and Rhian and mum-in-law to Paul, Kerstin, Sharon and Mark. Proud and loving grandmother of Ceri, Steffan, Kristian, Sam, Rachel, Warren, Anthony, Luke and Olivia and their partners. Beloved big sister to Brian and the late Dorothy, John and Jimmy. Much loved aunt and great aunt. The funeral service will be held on 8th November 2021 at 1.30 at Albany Road Baptist Church followed by committal at the Wenallt Chapel, Thornhill Crematorium at 2.45pm. Family flowers only please, donations will be gratefully accepted in memory of Maureen for Marie Curie, a charity close to her heart following her sister's death bit.ly/3vCxGs8. If roses grow in heaven, Please pick a bunch for me, Place them in my Mother's arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hug her for a while. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, but there's an ache within my heart that will never go away.
