Malcolm PeterDAVIESSadly we have lost someone very dear, a close and treasured father of Laura, a dear brother, uncle and friend. Malcolm (aka Fred) passed away on Wednesday 11th October 2023.

Malcolm was the son of W.H. & E.E. Davies of West End (Royal Dairy), attending Pentip CP School (1952 - 1958) and Coleshill Secondary Modern School (1958 - 1962).

He worked as a technician for Radio Rentals before becoming a popular postman in Llanelli and the surrounding area.

Malcolm's funeral will be held at Llanelli Crematorium on Thursday 26th October at 10.00 a.m.

It was only last night that I heard the sad news. We became pals from the moment we met, back in the sixties and stayed close for the rest of our lives. I shall miss you, but you have left me with a treasure of memories and good laughs. Thank you pal for a wonderful friendship.

‘ Fred’was the first person I made friends with when joining Llanelli Wanderers RFC over 40 years ago. Many fond memories and stories told. A great character and always his own man. Until next time Fred ✊
