David 'Butch' JonesDAVIESDAVIES David 'Butch' Jones Born in Maesteg, formerly of Gadlys Farm, Llangynwyd suddenly passed away on a cycling trip to Denia, Spain on January 30 2024 aged 80.

A local cycling legend with a number of championship wins including the National Road Racing Championship, The Gossage Cup and Welsh Hill Climb Championship.

A devoted husband and best friend to the late Susan. A loving brother to Frances and brother in law to Terry and Susan.

Butch will be dearly missed by his loving children , Claire and Nigel, his extended family and his many, many friends.

Resting at the Private Funeral Home of W James & Sons, Fonmon. Funeral Friday March 8, service 12:30 at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Penarth followed by cremation 2pm at Cardiff & Glamorgan Crematorium, Barry.
