I would like to thank Windyway Charity shop as that was where I first met Carol 20 odd years ago. We got on straight away, having the same sense of humour, so the laughs along the way were numerous.
Carol was always there for you and was a very fair minded person.
As time went on the four of us (Carol, Barrie, Chas & I) would go out for meals, days out, day train journeys always good company, memories we will never forget.
Definitely a Very Special Couple. Carol will always be sadly missed and never forgotten.
Our thoughts and Love to Barrie & Family

To my precious sister, Carol. We may have lived 12,000 miles apart, but we shared countless, wonderful times together in England, Ireland and Perth and gathered so many memories along the way.
I will really miss your WhatsApp calls, always opening up with a cheery,
‘Hiya,’ coupled with that lovely smile. Those long chats about everything and nothing, that only sisters can have, were priceless. Your love, warmth, positivity, gentleness and kindness knew no bounds.
Our deepest sympathy to Barrie, Andrew, Fred, Simon and their families.
Be at peace with Mum, dear sister.

I’ve known Carol for many years, she was a beautiful lady, inside and out. We both volunteered to work at Windyway charity shop, she and Barrie introduced sequence dancing to my husband and I, she and I went country dancing at Adlington, we went on a computer course together and I introduced her to cross stitching and we two couples enjoyed visits to Crewe Lyceum Theatre to name but a few things. We shared many a laugh together and she enriched the lives of myself and many others. A gentle, lovely person. Sue

A very kind, gentle lady whom I met with a lovely crowd of volunteers at Windyways charity shop.
So sad to hear the news that Carol has died - we thought there was a good chance she would be OK but shockingly this has happened.
I will be at the funeral on the 27th
