Roger was a great friends for years to my parents John and Janet Mountjoy. They enjoyed holidays in France together, gin and tonics and scrabble games.
When young he would take us for spins in his sports car wearing his flat caps.
Such a lovely gentleman.

I will always remember Roger for his kindness and care for his parents and wider family, so it is good to know he himself was well looked-after in his final months.

I had the privilege of knowing Roger Dawe for many years, and latterly was able to learn more about his many charitable concerns and work. He was a real gentleman and a dear friend.
