June MonicaDAYIt is with utter sadness to announce June has passed away at home on Friday 7th July 2023, aged 76 years, after a short illness. Reunited with Charlie and Irene, this remarkable, well loved lady leaves behind her loving sisters Dorothy and Detta. June, a precious Sister-in-Law to Mel, and unforgettable Aunt to Charlotte. A special thank you to her neighbours, Chris, Steve and Claire for their kindness, immeasurable support and taking on the role of guardians to enable June to remain at home and show her such care. She will be sadly missed by all her treasured family and friends, may her legacy live on, and the memories never fade of such a wonderful, loving character who brought so much light to so many people. June's funeral service and Mass is to be held on Monday 24th July 2023 at 1.45pm, at St Augustine's Catholic Church, Meir followed by a celebration of her life for the committal service at Carmountside Crematorium. Mourners are kindly asked to meet at the service. The family also extend the invitation to join them after the committal, to continue the celebration of June's life, at the Auctioneers Arms, Caverswall, ST11 9EQ. Family flowers only by request please, however, should you wish to donate in loving memory of June, donations to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
