AnnDEACON(Née Murton) Passed away peacefully after a short illness on 8th July 2025, aged 85 years. Of Saltash, formerly of Drakewalls, Gunnislake.

Wife of late husband Peter, dearly loved Mum of Phil and Steve, special Sister to Mary, cherished Aunt to Sarah, and proud Nanny Ann of Max and Georgia.

A quietly strong and determined woman, Ann was loved by all who knew her - gentle, kind-hearted, and always thinking of others. She adored animals, knitting, and her family, and especially loved sharing a lunch or afternoon tea in good company. Her warmth and sweet nature made her a joy to be around. She was also proud to be a leap year baby - officially turning 21 last year.

"Loved and remembered every day, quietly strong in her own gentle way."

Funeral service to be held at St Andrew's Church, Calstock, on Tuesday 19th August at 2pm, followed by interment at Calstock Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the RSPCA or Cancer Research UK may be left online at wcpltd.com/donate All enquiries please to Pengelly Funeral Service Saltash, PL12 6AB Tel: 01752 848838
