Elizabeth MaryDEAR23rd January 1939 - 9th May 2019 The close friends of Mary Dear would like to thank all members of the Ashbourne, Doveridge and Cromford Communities for their kindness and support for her before, during and after her cremation and memorial service which took place on the 24th May 2019. They are particularly grateful to Dominic Stone, the staff and choir of Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, the Reverend Duncan Ballard and Michael Halls Director of Music at St Oswald's Church, Ashbourne, their contributions to the celebration of her life making it a very special and memorable day. They would also like to acknowledge the loving care provided by the medical team at The Dove River Surgery, the local community care team and the staff and volunteers of St Giles Hospice, Lichfield who supported Mary throughout her suffering. Mary was a remarkable woman who will be always remembered by those who loved and cared for her. From caring comes courage, courage enables caring in the knowledge that it is truly good.
