John PaulDEVANEYof Lincoln, passed away suddenly on the 27th November 2021 aged 65 years. Latterly Academic Registrar at Lincoln College & Sports Writer. Beloved Husband of Laura, Brother of Barbara, Angela and Clare and Son in Law of Audrey, he will be very sadly missed by all. Funeral service takes place at Lincoln Crematorium on Tuesday 11th January 2022 at 1:50pm. The retiring collect in memory of John will be for The British Heart Foundation. John was a warm-hearted, kind and generous man. He is sadly missed at the Subbuteo club he began over 10 years ago. I wish Laura, his family and friends my deepest condolences at this time. Rest in Peace JD.

John will always be remembered for his passion for sport and love for Subbuteo. His legacy lives on in the club he formed back in 2010. He was passionate and generous and a loss to all the Subbuteo community across the country.

We all miss John, his passion for sport and Subbuteo will be remembered. It was John who rekindled the passion of the game bringing players from around the county (and afar) together and for that we will always be indebted. He was enthusiastic, kind, supportive and generous - a true gent. Our sincere condolences and best wishes to his family and friends at this difficult time.
