JohnDEXTERIt is with great sadness that John peacefully passed away, surrounded by his loving children on the 9th September 2023, aged 90 years young.
Beloved husband of the late Jean Elsie. Brother of the late Joyce, brother-in-law of Pam and the late Geoff and Chris. Cherished Dad of Anne, Jayne, Caroline, and Ian. Father-in-law to Glyn, Michael, Martyn, and Carolyn. Amazing Grandad to Mark, Rachael, Lauren, Bethanie, Jason, Natasha, Oliver, Mark, Simon, and their partners Louise, Adam, Lee, Gavin, Madeleine, Richard, Sharon, and Sue. Adored Great Grandad of Joshua, Charlie, Jack, Jacob, Poppy, Isabelle, Betsy Lu, Evelyn, Daisy, Amelia, Sam, and Alex. A special uncle and friend to many.

A service will be held to celebrate John's life on Wednesday, 20th September 2023, at Woodlands Crematorium at 2.40 pm. Family and friends are all welcome.
John is resting peacefully in the very good care of Wilson & Cooper Funeral Directors, Ashby High Street, Scunthorpe. where flowers or donations for Macmillan will be gratefully received or if preferred donations after the service.
