RoyDOBSONWe announce with great sadness that Mr Roy Dobson peacefully passed away in the early hours of Saturday 31st January aged 93.
Beloved husband to Mary, adored father to Joanne and Chris and dear father-in-law to Steph. Devoted grandad to Millie, India and Isla and loving step-grandad to Rachael and Luigi.
Roy was a true gentleman who will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew him.

Roy's funeral service will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium on Thursday 5th March at 12:30pm.

Following the service Roy's family warmly invite you to raise a glass and share more memories of Roy at The Great Northern, Mickleover, Derby, Derbyshire, DE3 9FB.

Family flowers only.

Donations made in lieu can be made to - Alzheimer's Society.

My uncle Roy was an absolute legend, he was clever, funny and extremely mischievous. As a little girl I spent many of my school holidays in Stone with Aunty Mary, Uncle Roy and Joanne. I clearly remember him teaching me to swim, riding a bike and taking us for days out. He even rescued me when I got locked in his toilet at a family party. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. X
