Kathleen Mary MollyDONALDSONDONALDSON Kathleen Mary (Molly) passed away peacefully at home on 10th January 2009 aged 96 years. Devoted wife of the late Edward, much loved mother of George, Robert and Mary. Loving grandmother to Alasdair, Sam, Megan, Anna, Jenny, Alison and Eli. Funeral service to take place at St. John the Baptist Church, Hugglescote on Monday 26th January 2009 at 12.15pm followed by cremation at Loughborough Crematorium. My granny was a funny, intelligent and interesting person patience sometimes. I miss her so so much I loved baking with her and finding out about our family tree alot although my memory is a little bad there. Love you granny miss you so much. Alison ps I am unsure of you would of liked the man I married in the end if you were still around but I hope you would.

I have only just heard about this tribute page but I am delighted to add my two pennyworth. I met Molly through tracing our family tree and she invited my sister and me round to tea so that we could talk together. She was a lovely lady, very helpful and kind and she will be very much missed. A contributor to the local scene, she wrote books on local history and local people. I am so sorry that I cannot talk to her or visit her any longer. She deserves to be put on a pedestal although that would be the last thing she would have wanted. Rest in peace Molly, you were such a lovely lady and I enjoyed all the times we met in your house and learned about my family by listening to you. Many thanks for all your help.

Mrs. Donaldson was our neighbour for 18years. although we left Donington le Heath 7 years ago, she still kept in touch. A lovely lady, rest in peace. Jane and Malc Cockeram
