My old tradesman. The Ailsa bar is not the same ,niethre is the bowling club. When I was 16 you wwere 26 qhat a life what a time!

Derek was my tradesman during my apprenticeship 10 years older than me. I came back to Troon as often as I could. I always looked out for Derek. He was a worker, a friend and a great laugh.I remember his last trip offshore on Claymore he was presented with a Zimmer complete with cigarette holder. Much missed God Bless.
