DorothyDOWDIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Jean DOWD (nee Hill).
Beloved wife to the late Colin, sister to Bill and the late Susan, Dorothy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons Tony and Jonathan, daughters-in-law Angela, Becci and Janet, her adoring grandchildren Beth, Sam, Niall, Jamie, Ross, Ciaran and Ted, as well as her extended family.
Surrounded by her loving family, Dorothy passed away peacefully at the age of 86 in the care of Scarborough Court, Cramlington on 7th January 2026.
We would like to invite all who knew Dorothy to celebrate her life at Whitley Bay Crematorium, Whitley Bay on Friday 30th January 2026 at 12 noon.
