GarethDOWDELLOn Sunday, 3rd August 2025, surrounded by love, Gareth Dowdell passed away peacefully at home, aged 80 years.
A devoted husband to Denise for six decades, Gareth's life was defined by love, loyalty, and kindness. He was a proud and caring father to Juliette, Gareth, and Lorna; a deeply cherished grandfather to Jake, Emilie, Pierce, William, Jason, Finnley, and Elliot; a joyful great-grandfather to Eliza, Jenson, and Rupert and loving brother to Colin and the late Bert, Barbara, little Mary and Peter.
Gareth's warmth, generosity of spirit, and quiet strength touched the lives of all who knew him. His laughter will echo in our hearts, his wisdom will guide us still, and his love will remain with us always.
A Celebration of Gareth's Life will take place on Wednesday, 20th August 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Memoria in Barry.
