Bernard AlbertDRURYIt is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce that, following a life long health battle, Bernard passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday 18th August 2026 at Scunthorpe General Hospital, aged 68 years.
A cherished and amazing dad to Matthew, Rebecca & Lucy, father-in-law to Andy & Martin, and a very special grandad to Abigail, Iris-Rose & Vinnie.
A special brother and uncle, devoted long-term partner to his three children's mum and lifelong friend, Linda. Bernard was a dear friend to many and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember the life of Bernard will take place on:
Thursday 3rd September 2026
12 noon
Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe.
Family flowers only, please.
Donations in Bernard's memory will benefit the British Horse Racing Association.
If you wish to attend Bernard's final farewell, the family have kindly requested that everyone comes dressed with a splash of blue in his memory.
