MichaelDUNNMr Michael Dunn, of Poplar Avenue, Great Harwood, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, aged 78. He worked for over 30 years at Ashworth, Young and Co, Priestley Footwear, Printform Plastics and later Euro Extrusions. Playing football for Great Harwood Town, he also enjoyed snooker, dominoes and darts playing for various teams. Mick also enjoyed doing his word search and watching sitcoms. He loved being with his family. The dearly loved husband of Christine, loving dad of Linda, Clive and Stuart, grandad of Wesley, Scott, Kimberley, Matthew, Nathan, Charleigh and Georgia; great-grandad of Adam, Sonny, Mischa, Franky, Billie, Kasper, Darcey, Myla and Darla, dearest father-in-law of Hughie, Deborah and Dawn, and loved brother of Patricia and David and the late Peter, Bill and Lilian. A funeral service will take place at 10am on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Our Lady and St Huberts RC Church, Great Harwood, administered by Father P. Tansey, followed by committal at Accrington Crematorium at 11am. Family flowers please; however if desired, donations suggested to Brain Tumour Research.
