JoanDURKIN (NEE FLOOD)Passed away peacefully, surrounded by love on Monday 10th July 2023. An incredible human being and devoted mum to Sharon, Michelle and Sean. Very proud nan to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joan was a loving sister, cousin and aunty and a loyal friend. Joan will be very sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Reunited with her beloved mam Lily, dad big John, adored brother John and aunty Ada. Mum, you sang each and every day of your life and you have now taken your rightful place with the heavenly choir of angels above. You are forever locked within our hearts and we know that you will continue to guide us throughout our lives. A celebration of Joan’s life will be held at St. Peter’s Church, Langrove Street, Everton on Thursday 3rd August 2023 at 9.45am, followed by committal at Anfield Crematorium. Family flowers only please but donations to the British Heart Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society would be very gratefully received.
