Margaret LynneDURKINMargaret Lynne Durkin, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 6 at home in Helmshore, aged 78. Born in Ramsbottom to Alice and Fred Gledhill, she moved to Helmshore where she spent all her remaining years. A much-loved wife to the late Alan Durkin, wonderful mum to daughters Hayley and Catherine, the best grandma to Georgia and Gracie and elder sister to Anne. Lynne enjoyed gardening, reading, listening to music and plenty of holidays abroad and in the UK. She also loved days out shopping with her family - any excuse for a coffee and cake. She devoted her life to making those she loved happy and she was loved by all she knew. The funeral will take place at Accrington Crematorium on Friday, June 27 at 1.40pm.
