Meg was a very special teacher to me and I was so saddened to hear of her passing. At school I was quite a rebel, but she took me under her wing, kept me grounded and believed in me when I needed it most. I have never forgotten her kindness, patience and the difference she made in my life. I still treasure the letter she sent me when I left school in 1987, which says so much about the kind and thoughtful person she was. I have a great deal to thank her for and will always remember her with affection and gratitude.
