George RaymondEDGERay passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday 23rd September 2025 aged 96 years.

The beloved husband of the late Joan, a dearly loved father of Katherine Jane and Son-in-Law Walter. Ray was a dear brother, uncle and friend and will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.

The funeral service and cremation will take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Wednesday 29th October 2025 at 11:20am. Would all those attending please meet at the Crematorium.

The first time I became aware of Ray
was about fifty years ago in the staff room of St. Margaret Ward. He was describing places he had visited on his walks. He spoke so enthusiastically I was inspired to take up walking as a hobby.
