As I prepare to go off to France again I think of you and the animated chats we used to have about ‘OutreManche’, always peppered with your inimitable humour. Miss our exchanges,John.
Margy and I speak about you with love and affection xx

Thought about you John, that time we took Rocky for a walk, and he jumped down into the muckiest part of a field full of cows.....completely covered and had to be hosed off! That's what I loved, you always saw the humour in everything. Three years now and we miss you very much ❤️ x

I think of you often John.
I remember the time we met up in Winchcombe and went to the ‘Sausage’ pub! We always had so much to chat about and I miss your humour. You’ll never be forgotten xxx

Thinking of you today John, and not believing it's now two years since you left us. Yesterday Bob and I were out at the bonsai paddock, overlooking the estuary, while trying valiantly to keep the brambles at bay - and I know you would've loved it out there! Many happy memories xxx

A year has gone by and every day I still find it hard to believe you're no longer in this world.
Missing a very dear friend, his humour, sensitivity and kindness. His passion for the English countryside and the traditions, craft and heritage held within knew no bounds, and he shared it with all around him. Will always be remembered with great fondness, and a smile xx
