Elwyn ClwydEDWARDSCarol and family wish to thank everyone for the sympathy and support shown to them following the loss of Elwyn Clwyd Edwards, Dyffryn Coediog, Llanfwrog, Ruthin. Loving husband of Carol, loyal brother of Eifion, dear uncle and brother-in-law and supportive friend to many. Each visit, letter, card, kind word and gesture have been a great comfort and very much appreciated. The generous collection from the memorial service of £1,300 has been donated to local groups for young people - Ruthin Girl Guides, 1st Ruthin Scout Group, Ruthin Town Juniors Football Club and Ruthin Junior Hockey Club. Thank you also to Reverend Stuart Evans who conducted the service so thoughtfully both at the crematorium and at St Peter's Church, The Royal British Legion for the guard of honour and in military tradition The Last Post bugle call, the beautiful singing by John and Robert Price, the special poem by Carol Dalton and the heart felt tribute and memories by Nicholas Edwards and Tony Davies. A thank you also to Dowell Brothers for their efficient, dignified and supportive service.
