I know you always asked me if I ever had a little cat but I am allergic. I do love cats though. My favourite animals are ducks and geese. Unfortunately I can’t load it but imagine a photo of me at the hospital with a piece of duck art. Some of my patients know me as the ‘duck lady’ or the ‘goose lady’. I am getting better at nursing everyday. Maybe I’ll do midwifery like you. And have a donkey called Nimble. I am so looking forward to telling you about my adventures x

I have so many questions and only you and nanny gwen know the answers. Thinking of you as I strive to be the best nurse I can be for patients, myself, and you.

I was in charge for the first time ever for three nights. I got through the ‘wee hours’ and they were hard but I remembered you and Nanny Gwen would be supportive of me. Dad said you’d be proud of me. I’ve come so far and there’s so much more to come. I hope you’re resting easy c
