Helen MarieELLARDPassed away peacefully on 04/12/2023 aged 71 years. Beloved wife of Michael and much loved mother of Wayne, Darren, Carl and Tanya. She will be dearly missed by her beloved grandchildren: Ruby, Jacob, Callum, Oliver, Kiera and Lucas. Reception into church on Thursday 28/12/23 at 5 pm at St Dunstans RC Church, Kings Heath. Funeral mass at St Dunstans on Friday 29/12/23 at 11 am followed by cremation service at Robin Hood Crematorium at 12.30 pm. Donations, if desired, can be made in memory of Helen for Birmingham St Mary's Hospice. Helen will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends. Rest in Peace with love.

Aunt Helen was a special lady with a kind and loving heart. We will miss Aunt Helen terribly, however we will look back on and treasure the memories we shared together. I want to thank you for being such a wonderful Mother-in-law.
When I married your son, I had no way of knowing
What a special role you would play in our lives.
From the very beginning you have had a wonderful talent
For being supportive and helpful.
You’ve never been the kind of Mother-in-law who interferred.
I’m sure there were times when you had to bite your tongue,
But somehow you were always able to trust us,
And to let us work things out for ourselves.
Sometimes when I talk to other people,
I realize just how lucky I am to have you as my Mother-in-law.
You’ve always been so warm and loving,
And willing to listen.
I have come to regard you as a very special woman,
A wonderful mother, and a “gem” of a Mother-in-law,
And I just wanted to tell you that I love you…and will miss you.

Helen, thank you for everything for you have done for us and for being the best Nanny for our boy. Words cannot describe how much we will miss you. xx
