I have just learned of Richard's passing and am saddened at the news. I was only thinking of him over the weekend and thought of writing or visiting to see why he hadn't been on the LBSG group forum. He was very active in the group despite his disability. I first met him in the early 2000's as I recall, and we had trips out together many times. I have not heard from his pal Barry Watchorn who came with us in the early days, and maybe would have told me but perhaps mislaid my e-mail address. I was pleased to be able to pass on the CMA award on behalf of the LBSG because he was unable to attend meetings. I, and I am sure many of our members, will not forget him. David (Hunt) LBSG member No 1952.
