Rest in Peace Uncle Sandy. I will always remember you as a very kind and warm gentleman. Here is one of the very few photos of yourself, Aunt Hilda, Helen and I on a visit to Stirling. Many fond memories. Condolences to Sandy and Elizabeth from Andrew & Family x

Sandy was a truly gentle kind man. My husband and I both had the honour to call him our “boss”for many years when we all worked together within the “Group Stores”, Royal Infirmary, Stirling for Forth Valley Health Board as it was then known from 1976 onwards. We then moved to Central Supplies Department in Colquhoun Street,Stirling and Sandy remained there as Supplies and Transport Manager until he reached his retirement age. He was sorely missed by all his colleagues after he left.He always smiled and made everyone enjoy working for him . My husband and I were very fortunate that he and his beloved wife “Hilda”, remained a big part of our lives having attended our wedding and the christenings of our two children. They were surrogate family to us. May they both now be reunited in heaven and rest in peace.
