JamesFARRAGHERJim Passed away peacefully at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary on Tuesday 15th January 2019, aged 82. He leaves children Michael, James, Damian, Tim and Catherine, sister Eileen and grandchildren Eliza, Joseph, William, Emily and Thomas. A keen sportsman, he played football and cricket for many years and was a supporter of Stacksteads St Joseph's Football Club and Bacup Cricket Club. He also played bowls for the Rose and Bowl in Stacksteads in his later years. Away from sport, he enjoyed walking the local hills and socialising with friends at the Rosemount WMC. The funeral service, conducted by Father Philip Boast, will take place at St Joseph and St Peter Church on Wednesday 23rd January at 11am followed by burial at Bacup Cemetery at 12 noon Family flowers only requested with donations to Dementia UK.
