Olive MayFARRELLMam wanted to live out her life in her own home. We managed this but only with the support of a number of people. To Dr Blakey of the Linthorpe Surgery, the care team from Care Force and especially Barbara, thank you. Despite every one's best efforts mam died in hospital. Although it was a difficult time, the staff of ward 34, James Cook University Hospital with their care, kindness and endless cups of tea made mam's last day one that we will cherish. To Gary and the staff of Relph's Funeral Services and Jan from Tyne Tees Celebrants, thank you for your professional and caring support whilst helping us to make mam's funeral arrangements. To the many friends and neighbours that helped and cared for mam, thank you. Finally to Olive and Betty, mam's friends and neighbours for 53 years. We would have been lost without you and so would mam. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Daughters Margaret and Linda. Sons-in-law Francis and Stephen. Grandchildren Adam, Erin, Laura, David and Jack. Great-grandchildren Theo and Isabelle and the 'outlaws' Lee and Amy.
